Frog – Our Mascot (click for 4×3 PDF)

Bill and his wife spent a day with this lovely green creature a few summers ago on Donnell Pond, one of the Maine Public Reserved Lands sites in places throughout the state that offer wonderful rustic camping. It was a lazy September Saturday, and the frog spent the whole of it soaking up the sunshine at the edge of the pond, staying put despite swimming and canoeing and fire building a few feet away.

A wild storm came through that night; the frog was gone when the next day dawned gray and windy. But its calm sunny presence, captured in Bill’s photo, provides inspiration to Maine Quality Information Partners. Please feel free to print up your own copy so it can bring a bit of Maine summer to your day.
